Providing enhanced service delivery and a better customer experience
We are excited to announce that MarkitSERV is investing in a new technology stack for our credit and FX trade confirmation, clearing and regulatory reporting services. The deployment, scheduled to begin in early 2018, is part of a broader technology initiative that will consolidate our post trade services onto one modern platform that will improve service delivery and the customer experience.
New platform uses cloud infrastructure to improve service delivery
TradeServ uses the cloud and modern system architecture to deliver higher levels of flexibility, customization and utility. Improvements customers can expect include:
Easier access to your data to enable better trade and risk analytics
More flexible choices for integrating your trade and risk systems to MarkitSERV
Faster service updates in response to changing regulation and industry needs
Seamless connectivity to the new Trade Information Warehouse in development by DTCC
Modern system architecture
TradeServ will feature:
Next-generation, cross-platform connectivity
Powered by a cloud-enabled solution (public and private)
Functional micro-services architecture
Modern web and MQ interfaces
Deep data sets in support of reconciliation and analytics
Platform as a Service technologies supporting end-to-end delivery
Standardized industry workflows and state management
We expect to bring TradeServ into production in early 2018 for FX clearing, followed by credit, currently slated for Q4 2018. In the interim, we will provide complete support to make the transition as easy as possible.
Coordination with DTCC
Currently, MarkitSERV and the TIW from DTCC share technology architecture. In a highly coordinated migration, both firms are upgrading technologies and working to ensure that customer-facing change is as limited as possible.
We will be providing much more information and comprehensive support to make the migration as easy as possible. For now please sign up to our TradeServ mailing list and you will receive announcements, invites to working groups, demos, and more. This page will be updated regularly with new information and resources.
