Tracy Brenner, MSc
Tracy is a Technical Advisor responsible for software training and support of IHS Piper. She brings practical experience from major E&P operations across all business stages in both conventional and unconventional assets. Tracy has worked on shale gas, oil sands (CSS, SAGD & Mining) and offshore conventional assets on both Reservoir Engineering and Geoscience teams. She is skilled in GIS, core data analysis, well logs and image analysis. With a BSc & MSc from the University of Calgary, she has over 15 years’ experience teaching and over 10 supporting technical applications.
Simon Davies, P.Eng
Simon holds a B. Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Dalhousie University, Canada, and a B. App. Tech. Petroleum Engineering from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. His current position is as a Subject Matter Expert for the IHS Piper software. He has detailed experience with pressure calculation methods, including multiphase flow in pipes with phase change behavior. He focuses on petroleum engineering software workflows and technical development in the area of wellbore and pipeline optimization.
