Mr. Robert Munks is Editor of IHS Jane's Intelligence Review, the monthly periodical that reports on global security issues and international relations.
He formerly was head of the IHS Country Risk team for Latin America. He has expertise on regional security and political issues and global transnational security issues, including terrorism, insurgency, organised crime and other violent risks. Prior to joining IHS in 2008, Mr. Munks worked for the U.K. Foreign and Commonwealth Office, primarily in the Latin America and Caribbean Department. He also served as a foreign policy advisor on a detachment to the European Union in Brussels for four years. Mr. Munks's degrees include a master's degree in Modern European Languages and Cultures from Durham University, U.K.
