Mr. Tom Morrod is a Senior Director in Consumer Electronics & Video Technology at IHS Technology.
His expertise includes consumer surveys, device technology and trends, business-to-consumer strategies and the technologies to deliver these services to consumers. He has almost 10 years of experience in strategy and forecasting of trends in consumer technology and business-to-business technology. Mr. Morrod joined IHS through the acquisition of Screen Digest, where he set up the consumer electronics and connected home research practices. Mr. Morrod’s university degrees include a Bachelor of Arts in Economics (Hons.) from the University of Nottingham, Nottingham, U.K., and a Master of Arts in Creative and Media Enterprise from the University of Warwick, Coventry, U.K.
