Colin Couchman is Director of Global Automotive Sales Forecasting at IHS Markit. His global analyst team specializes in light vehicle forecasting, manufacturer model program strategies and vehicle segmentation analysis. Couchman also oversees international bespoke forecasting projects for major clients. Couchman has more than 20 years of direct experience in forecasting trends in the automotive industry. He holds an MBA in International Management and a BA (Hons) in Economic History and Politics, both from the University of London.
Matteo Fini is IHS Automotive’s lead for Global Component Forecasts. He specializes in OEM procurement strategy and supply chain analysis in a variety of sectors since 2004. Between 2012 and 2015 he has been lead consultant for IHS Automotive’s Consulting team, advising a variety of stakeholders in the automotive sector. He has previously headed IHS Automotive's procurement strategy research centre from 2009, authoring numerous studies on OEM procurement strategy and automotive technology.
Before joining IHS, he has developed in-depth insight into automotive procurement business processes following a stint at GM-Fiat Worldwide Purchasing, focused on on-line auctions and APQP-based business processes. Matteo holds a Master of Science in Automotive Engineering with a specialization in vehicle systems development from the Polytechnic University of Turin, Italy.
Reinhard Schorsch is Director of Advisory Services within IHS Automotive. He has 15 years of experience in automotive forecasting and consulting. Reinhard and his teams support OEMs and suppliers in sales and powertrain planning and scenarios, they conduct product portfolio and new launch assessments, as well as vehicle in operations forecasting. Prior to joining IHS, Reinhard provided consulting services to automotive firms while working for a leading strategy consulting firm. He also served as a director of a global customer satisfaction research company. Reinhard received his diploma in economics from the University of Hohenheim.
