Colin Couchman is Director of Global Automotive Sales Forecasting at IHS Markit. His global analyst team specializes in light vehicle forecasting, manufacturer model program strategies and vehicle segmentation analysis. Couchman also oversees international bespoke forecasting projects for major clients. Couchman has more than 20 years of direct experience in forecasting trends in the automotive industry. He holds an MBA in International Management and a BA (Hons) in Economic History and Politics, both from the University of London.

Paolo Martino

Reinhard Schorsch is Director of Advisory Services within IHS Automotive. He has 15 years of experience in automotive forecasting and consulting. Reinhard and his teams support OEMs and suppliers in sales and powertrain planning and scenarios, they conduct product portfolio and new launch assessments, as well as vehicle in operations forecasting. Prior to joining IHS, Reinhard provided consulting services to automotive firms while working for a leading strategy consulting firm. He also served as a director of a global customer satisfaction research company. Reinhard received his diploma in economics from the University of Hohenheim.

Vijay Subramanian is Senior Manager for EMEA Powertrain forecasting and CO2 Compliance team at IHS Markit. Having recently joined IHS his primary focus is to lead and foster CO2 compliance business and product offerings within IHS. He comes with 15+ years of experience in the field of powertrain and alternate propulsion system gathered during his engagement with major OEM’s like CATERPILLAR, CHRYSLER, JAGUAR LANDROVER and CHANGAN. In the past he has handled key vehicle program for global and local region to name a few like ACERT, 740ADT, Jeep India , Jaguar XE and Changan S401. Having migrated from India, Vijay comes with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Anna University in Mechanical Engineering. He had been also an active member in developing and deploying technology initiative for identifying and developing fuel efficient technologies that are required by to meet CO2 compliance in major markets. Also he had advocated initiative on vehicle portfolio optimisation , cost benefit technology selection and target setting on vehicle attributes like performance economy and energy management for future vehicle. His role of being technical specialist in addressing calibration and technical issue that are related to fuel economy during vehicle launches are well recognised in the industry.
