Mr. Firas Modad is a director for Country Risk, with a focus on the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, at IHS Markit.
He is experienced in forecasting political and violent risks for the MENA region. His expertise includes Middle Eastern economics and Islamic finance. He focuses on Syria, Lebanon, Libya, and Egypt, with a concentration on political stability and the rise of Islamist militant groups.
