Based in Singapore, Ding Li is the Asia-Pacific Head of Research for Upstream Cost & Technology. He also leads the research team for yards and fabrication. In this capacity, Ding Li has supported oil and gas companies in assessing yard capability worldwide for offshore platform and onshore module fabrication projects. He has also contributed to several operators risks (delays and cost overruns) identification and evaluation exercises for major offshore EPC projects. Prior to IHS Markit, Ding Li was a strategy manager specializing in petroleum economics and served as an investment analyst at a corporate finance firm, evaluating the economics of natural resource development projects.
Yun Yun graduated with a Bachelors of Arts degree from NUS in 1995. She started off as a journalist with Singapore Press Holdings. In her time there, she covered everything from entertainment and the economy, to politics and even World Cup 2006, in various roles ranging from reporter, sub-editor to page designer. She then worked for The Scotsman as a sports sub in Edinburgh, before returning to Singapore in 2006 and joining ODS Petrodata, which was later acquired by IHS.
Since then, Yun Yun has been tracking the offshore rig market in Asia-Pacific. She is currently the Principal Analyst and lead for the rig team at IHS Singapore office. This is the second oil and gas downturn under her watch.
Lissa is a Senior Marine Specialist from the IHS Petrodata Marine team. She gathers data, reports on and analyse the offshore supply vessel market for Asia Pacific focusing on Southeast Asia. She contributes to Offshore Marine Monthly (OMM) and Global Supply Vessel Forecast (GSVF), a bi-annual publication that provides supply, demand and utilisation forecast for AHTS and PSVs. Lissa has a BA (Hons) in English from Goldsmith College, University of London.
Jacelyn is responsible for tracking vessel and contract activities, reporting and analysing on the offshore supply vessel market for Asia Pacific, with a focus on the Far East and Indian Ocean regions. She also contributes to Offshore Marine Monthly (OMM) and Global Supply Vessel Forecast (GSVF), a bi-annual publication that provides supply, demand and utilisation forecast for AHTS and PSVs. Jacelyn holds a Bachelor of Business degree (Honours) from Nanyang Technological University.
Algena Lee is an analyst with IHS Petrodata, covering Asia-Pacific field development activities with a focus on China. Prior to joining the field development team in 2010, she worked in the publishing industry for over 10 years. Algena majored in Chinese Literature at National Chengchi University in Taiwan.
Yvonne Seow joined the IHS Petrodata team in 2014, and covers field development and construction/subsea vessel activities in APAC, especially Australia/New Zealand. Her previous work experience, in publishing, spanned more than 15 years. She holds a BSc (Applied Psychology) from the University of Southern Queensland.
Kelvin is a Principal Researcher working within the IHS Market Survey System (MSS) team and is responsible for forecasting demand for the floating production segments. Prior to joining IHS CERA, Kelvin worked as an equities research analyst in JPMorgan Singapore covering rig building and FPSO contractors and as a category analyst in Shell covering the floating production systems market. Kelvin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management (Hons) from Singapore Management University and is a CFA charter holder.
Aw Jiesheng (Jason) is a senior research analyst in IHS Cost & Operating performance (C&OP) in the Asia-Pacific. The Cost & Operating Performance team includes the IHS Market Survey System (MSS). Jason specializes in the offshore maintenance market as well as offshore fixed platform construction and fabrication yards.
Nick Sharma is a Managing Director at IHS Markit based in Singapore where he heads up the upstream research and consulting business for the APAC region. Nick brings 17 years of wide ranging experience across the E&P value chain from detailed engineering to operations to strategy and new ventures work.
At IHS Markit, Nick’s focus has been primarily strategy, new ventures, country risk, commercial and policy work. In Asia, Nick has led multi-discipline teams in developing comprehensive E&P growth strategies for NOCs, as well as led a number of policy/fiscal terms initiatives for ministry/regulators.
Prior to joining IHS Markit, Nick worked for Capgemini as part of their Oil & Gas Practice, as well as in a new ventures and engineering roles with AWE Exploration and KBR in Australia and London respectively.
Nick holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from Curtin University of Technology with a Post-Graduate of Oil & Gas Engineering from the University of Western Australia.
