Ravi is a Vice President in charge of business development for Asia and Middle East Oil Markets team at IHS. He joined Purvin and Gertz in 2005, which was acquired by IHS in November 2011, and is based at their Singapore office. Ravi has more than 25 years of diverse oil industry experience spanning both refining and petrochemicals. He heads the Business Development for IHS Oil Markets Research and Consulting team covering Asia and Middle East, in addition to providing customized consultation studies to clients. Ravi frequently presents to Senior Management and CEO’s of companies and also IHS and third party conferences. He previously had Operations, Process Engineering, Regional Production Planning, Regional Feedstock Economics, Global Manufacturing Advisory with increasing responsibilities with ExxonMobil Singapore, where he worked for about 11 years. Prior to joining ExxonMobil he worked at Hindustan Petroleum at Mumbai in India. Ravi holds a Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering and an MBA.
Antonio Dimabuyu leads our Asia Pacific upstream teams working on E&P strategic content and market intelligence. He has worked for 15 years in the upstream energy industry. He started as an asset geologist for Chevron/Unocal, working on geothermal/steam field exploration and development in the Philippines and Indonesia. He joined IHS Markit in 2007 initially handling field and basin research prior to moving to a regional management role.
Throughout his stint with IHS Markit, he has been involved on projects and studies covering Asia Pacific upstream (basin assessment and ranking, reserves and production trend analysis, country upstream analysis, exploration and play analysis and trend assessment).
Antonio has a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University the Philippines. He is an active member of the South East Asia Petroleum Exploration Society.
Joe has nine years’ experience in the oil and gas industry. He commenced his career with Baker Hughes on the offshore drilling rigs in Australia before moving to Fugro Survey. With Fugro, Joe was a lead offshore and project geophysicist working across Australasia, the North Sea and Norway. Time was spent mapping the seabed for offshore installation geological hazard analysis, seismic anomaly mapping and conducting marine infrastructure condition assessments.
Joe joined IHS in 2013 and holds the position of Upstream Research Coordinator. He is involved with processing information and reporting on the Australasian upstream industry, including: exploration; field geology; reserves and production analysis; and contract activity. Joe has a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology with Oceanography from the University of Southampton.
Matt has over fifteen years’ experience in the resources industry including eight with IHS, working on the Australasia and Northwest Europe data sets. He spent three years at Woodside with offshore Mauritania and Greater Enfield development teams and four years on the Western Australian goldfields.
Matt has a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) degree in Geology from the University of Adelaide, is a member of SEAPEX and is serving on the PESA (WA) committee. He currently works with IHS in customer support - training and assisting clients get the most from their IHS subscriptions.
Martin Mittag, Born and raised in Vienna, Austria, Martin joined Creditanstalt, Austria’s largest banks and rose to become Deputy Chief Executive of the bank’s New York Branch. In 2000 the bank was acquired by a competitor and Martin scratching an entrepreneurial itch, built his own company, a school teaching the public the building of wooden boats.
After selling the school to one of his student, Martin joined John S. Herold (later IHS Herold) in 2005. At IHS Herold Martin was charged with the development of clients in Europe, the Middle East and Asia/Pacific and he built a strong set of client relationships especially in Asia.
In 2013 Martin left IHS to join Eurasia Group, the political risk consultancy serving energy clients. His role was to increasing the understanding of political risk, its growing importance in corporate decision making and how to structure internal risk processes to ensure management and client alignment with regards to political risk. In December of 2015 Martin re-joined IHS as Director of Energy with special focus on Vantage, IHS’s asset valuation product.
