Colin Bird is a Senior Analyst with IHS Automotive, primarily focusing on Services, Apps and Software (SAS). Along with updating the SAS service with daily news items, bi-weekly analyst insights, profile reports and in-depth reports, Bird also assists with client requests, database work and with presenting at major conferences and trade shows as it relates to SAS.
Prior to joining IHS, Bird worked for Mintel, a market research firm, as an Automotive Analyst focusing on consumer behaviors and attitudes as it is related to light-vehicle retailing, hybrids and EVs, motorcycles, vehicle financing and auto service care, among other subjects. In addition to Mintel, Bird previously worked for Cars.com as an Automotive Editor and has over seven years of experience in automotive research/media publishing.
Mark C. Boyadjis is a principal analyst and manager of Automotive User Experience. He leads the global HMI practice in both thought-leadership and daily operations. Mark has worked as a part of this Automotive Technology research practice at IHS Markit (and former acquired entities) for over 10 years.
Mark’s responsibilities include management and analysis of the global HMI research spanning automotive displays, controls, speech recognition, haptics, touch, and emerging HMI innovations in gesture and augmented reality. His insights extend to HMI design and usability as well through an extensive background in vehicle testing and usability constructs.
Mark is an often-quoted expert in his field and has presented on behalf of IHS Markit at several forums. He is regarded as a leader in Infotainment and HMI business practices, technology insights, and competitive intelligence. He has led projects and research that have aided many Automakers, Tier One, and Tier Two suppliers in designing, implementing, and executing strategic automotive technology goals in core product lines and on global scale.
Mark holds a Master of Science in Management of Technology (MS MOT) from the Technological Leadership Institute at the University of Minnesota’s College of Science and Engineering, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business Management from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management.
Mike Fiske serves as a Senior Analyst for IHS Markit, where he is responsible for the transmission and driveline forecasting and market analysis for North America. Mr. Fiske holds an MBA and Juris Doctorate from Michigan State University.
Mark is responsible for the management of the Automotive Technology business unit of IHS Markit.
He has over 22 years of automotive experience relating to forecasting, competitive intelligence and consulting with experience working in market research firms and Tier 1 automotive suppliers.
Joe Langley serves as Principal Analyst for IHS Automotive with responsibility for North American production forecasting and market analysis. He has over 20 years of automotive experience relating to forecasting, competitive intelligence, leasing and residual valuation and industry analysis. Mr. Langley has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Hofstra University.
Antti Lindstrom leads the sales and production forecasts for the medium- and heavy-duty truck markets in the NAFTA region. He brings to IHS Markit deep experience with both on- and off-highway applications and powertrains, having also spent time with Power Systems Research, where he managed the industrial and marine gas turbine as well as heavy diesel engine products.
Mr. Lindstrom is part of the IHS Global Medium and Heavy Commercial Vehicle team and is based in Colorado.
Mr. Lindstrom earned a Master’s degree at the University of Michigan and a Bachelor’s degree at the University of Turku, in Finland, and is fluent in several European languages.
