Kim is a geophysicist and senior technical advisor for IHS. Kim joined IHS through the acquisition of SMT, where she started in 2007. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in geology from Central Washington University (2002) and a Master of Science degree in geophysics from the University of Idaho (2004). Kim also completed two years of post-graduate coursework at the University of Texas at El Paso.
