IHS in the Community

IHS is committed to our colleagues, customers, communities and future generations, and we encourage our employees to engage in community activities. We believe in giving back to the communities where we work and live through volunteer efforts and team-driven community improvement initiatives.

Our philanthropic areas of focus are:

  • Advancing education in math, science and technology, especially programs for young people
  • Health and wellness issues facing our communities

In addition, environmental sustainability at IHS is an important, on-going process, and we are working to understand and address our environmental impact and to identify areas for improvement.

The IHS Envision Environment Award is a quarterly award program designed to recognize the commitment and participation of IHS colleagues who are taking action and contributing to the success of environmental sustainability at IHS. Winners are awarded carbon offsets, which are purchased through The CarbonNeutral Company and allocated towards a carbon offset project selected by the winner.
