Fields and Discoveries Dataset (International)

The IHS Fields and Discoveries Dataset provides in-depth and rapid access to all pertinent data on undeveloped discoveries as well as details on producing fields, with resource estimates available at the field and reservoir level. Production details include some 336,000 oil, gas and condensate annual production figures for 12,750 fields. With monthly production figures for 8,550 entities this is the most comprehensive global field database available.

The Fields and Discoveries Dataset is part of our comprehensive International Exploration and Production (E&P) Database.

Technical teams use the Fields and Discoveries Dataset to analyze exploration opportunities and evaluate the hydrocarbon potential of developed and undeveloped reserves and resources in a given region.

This in-depth database contains 26,430 fields and discoveries, some 15,625 of which have been developed. It provides detailed information on nearly 54,250 reservoirs, worldwide (outside the US and Canada). Access a variety of field characteristics, including:

• Location and field outlines, license contracts and ownership
• Reserves and resources, history of reserves estimates
• Field development scheme and description, improved/enhanced recovery details, well statistics, cost overview
• Reservoir geology and petroleum engineering characteristics
• Hydrocarbon composition
• Field illustrations like structure maps, cross sections, reservoir logs and development schemes
• Annual production figures for 12,750 developed fields, monthly production figures for 8,550 entities
