IHS EDIN Desktop is designed to improve business results with access to integrated public and proprietary oil and gas data. Delivering increased functionality in an easy-to-use, open Windows-based environment, IHS EDIN Desktop can be deployed as a stand-alone package or on your network.

Map 

• The map interface provides tools to navigate, annotate, label, and print. Users can also incorporate in-house spatial data onto the EDIN Desktop map.

Query

• Run a query against a defined geographic basin area, or query the entire attribute database.

Browse

• Quickly analyze results by viewing, comparing, and sorting browse list data. The browse list spreadsheet format displays object lists (e.g. fields, wells, contracts, etc.) versus associated attribute lists (e.g. reserves, geology, or operator data).

Graph 

• Graph exploration & production information via a range of pre-defined graph templates and provision of generating flexible user-created templates.

Data Card 

• View multi-paged data card showing detailed information on a single entity (fields, wells, contracts, etc.) and quickly link data cards to lists of related data.

Export 

• Export key data from an area of interest or entity to Excel, ESRI Shape File and industry 3rd party software.
