The acquisition of Seismic Micro-Technology (SMT) and its Kingdom software presents IHS customers with a unique opportunity. SMT Kingdom is the market share leader for seismic interpretation with over 3000 customers in 100 nations. The solution, now renamed IHS Kingdom, is being quickly integrated with IHS Oil & Gas data and IHS Petra.
IHS believes that Kingdom will provide a technology solution for seismic interpretation for customers currently using PetraSeis. As we integrate the capabilities across our geoscience portfolio, 2d/3dPAK will be the platform for seismic interpretation going forward.
