IHS Intermat Struxure™ is the web-based software application for managing maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) catalogs. It manages, develops and maintains accurate and consistent parts descriptions, which become the basis for creating part records in a customer's EAP, EAM or MDM systems.

Struxure Connectors for EAM/ERP seamlessly automate and synchronize the data flow between Struxure and your EAM or ERP system. It ensures that users need only update information in one system, and utilize the same information in both systems.

IHS Intermat focuses on data cleansing of technical parts and materials content that is typically housed within the SAP materials management (MM) module. This supports the EAM capability of the SAP Service and Asset Management Suite, as well as MDM.

At the core of Intermat is the Standard Modifier Dictionary™ (SMD™), which standardizes MRO item descriptions. It is utilized in more than 2,500 industrial plants and facilities for over 350 organizations in 34 countries, including over 100 implementations with SAP customers.

Inventory Optimization
The IHS MRO Inventory Optimizer powered by xIO™ is a web-based solution expressly designed for MRO inventories and integrated with SAP. With it, you can dynamically monitor and adjust order points, order quantities and lead times with scientific support and prioritized analysis.

Catalog Management Software
Struxure™ catalog management software enables you to maintain consistency and currency with your MRO data. With Struxure, standardized MRO descriptions (item and classification data) can be passed seamlessly to SAP applications. Both Struxure and SMD have integrations certified for SAP Netweaver®.

Struxure Connectors seamlessly automate and synchronize the data flow between Struxure and your EAM/ERP application. It ensures that you need only update information in one system and utilize the same information in both systems. The Struxure Connectors enable updates, additions and deletions of class/classification (SMD noun/modifier), characteristics, MRO items, associated manufacturer/ vendor information and plant information. Data is captured and replicated between Struxure and EAM/ERP databases on a periodic (configurable) basis via Windows services on the Struxure application server.
