  • The Pipe Fabrication Institute (PFI)  creates standards that are used in the design, manufacture, fabrication, and installation of metal piping. The standards and technical bulletins of the PFI cover all production standardization within the industry, including engineering and design, welding and fabrication, cleaning, painting and shipping. PFI publications also apply to quality control, examination and testing.  

    IHS offers the comprehensive and fully indexed set of publications from PFI, which include such topics as:
