  • The Ente Nazionale Italiano di Unificazione, in English, Italian Organization for Standardization (UNI) publishes standards for industrial, commercial and tertiary sectors, with the exception of electrical and electrotechnical products, in Italy.

    UNI represents Italy in the activities of international standards devleoping organizations: ISO (International Organization for Standardization) and CEN (Comité Européen de Normalisation).

    Standardization is performed inside UNI by technical commissions and outside UNI by associated bodies involving a number of experts.
