National Electrical Testing Association (NETA)
Testing standards for newly installed and existing electrical systems from NETA.
-
The InterNational Electrical Testing Association (NETA) publishes a set of standards for the electrical testing industry.
NETA develops and advances standards for testing newly installed power systems prior to energization as well as existing, in–service power systems. To aid in the assessment of these systems, NETA has developed protocols to train and certify technicians in the testing methodology necessary to correctly evaluate the equipment and systems.
The NETA publications are:
- ANSI/NETA ATS Standard for Acceptance Testing Specifications for Electrical Power Equipment and Systems, 2009 edition
- ANSI/NETA MTS Standard for Maintenance Testing Specifications for Electrical Power Distribution Equipment and Systems, 2007 edition
- ANSI/NETA ETT Standard for Certification of Electrical Testing Technicians, 2010 edition
