CEA publishes standards used in the development, manufacturing, distribution and installation of consumer electronics.

  • The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) ® publishes standards and technical specifications that enable innovation and foster interoperability with existing devices. The CEA technology & standards program develops a unified roadmap for technology issues critical to the consumer electronics industry growth.

    The technology & standards department has several standards groups with more than 1,400 members. These groups adopt standards in an open fashion and are able to keep pace with changing technologies.
