Petrochemical Standards Collection

PetroChem Industry Standards Collection consists of selected industry standards used in the petrochemical industry. Included in the collection are sections of the ASME/BPVC, API Select and industry standards from over 25 U.S. industry standards developing organizations (SDOs). The documents in these collections are reviewed and modified twice annually to ensure the most industry targeted group of standards are included in each collection. Documents that are no longer relevant, or have a very low usage, will be removed in favor of more industry focused appropriate standards.

The standards organizations and types of data included in the PetroChem package are:

• PetroChem Standards - selected industry standards for over 25 US SDOs - AASHTO, ACI, AGA, ANSI, ASCE, ASHRAE, ASME, ASSE/SAFETY, ASTM, AWS (optional), AWWA, CSA (optional), CTI, GPA, ICC, IEEE, IESNA, ISA, MSS, NACE, NEMA, NFPA, PFI, SAE, SSPC and UL. There are over 1,100 documents in total.
• ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Non-Nuclear - ASME BPVC code sections I, II, IID, IIDM, V, VIII, IX, and X; non-nuclear code cases; addenda; interpretations; and referenced ASME standards.
• API Select - the most frequently referenced API publications including 5CT, 6A, 510, 570, 579, and 650. Approximately 275 documents are included in this collection.

Custom Online Standards Collection

If you need a collection of individual standards/documents, then the IHS custom standards collection works best for you. This option allows the greatest flexibility allowing you to pick and choose specific documents, whether they come from one or more SDOs. IHS does not require that you purchase a minimum number of documents to use this option. Your custom collection allows for multiple users at multiple locations to access the documents you have chosen.

Individual Purchase

All standards are also available for purchase as individual documents through the IHS Standards Store in PDF or hard copy formats. 

Deposit Accounts

Deposit accounts are a great way for a customer with online access to obtain the individual standards they need. Using a deposit account, an online customer can obtain PDF and hard copy documents outside of their online subscription. For the hard copy customer, this is perfect way to control purchasing and reduce paperwork. Most documents and publications purchased through a deposit account received a 10% discount from the regular price. To create your deposit account, simply download this pdf, fill it out and return it to the address noted on the form. A minimum $500 (US) is required to set up your deposit account.
