A former senior healthcare analyst with specialised expertise in healthcare reform and market analysis, Mr. Ando is responsible for overall business strategy, new business opportunities and IT positioning of the healthcare group. He is the author and podium presenter of numerous abstracts at research conferences such as ISPOR, and regularly speaks to media about ongoing trends in healthcare and pharmaceuticals. He has a graduate degree from the University of Uppsala (Sweden) specializing in healthcare politics.

Milena Izmirlieva

Senior Manager, Advanced Markets, Healthcare and Pharma

Milena Izmirlieva, Senior Manager of Advanced Markets in Healthcare and Pharma for IHS Global Insight, is in charge of healthcare and pharma applied research consulting projects. She also leads the team of pharmaceutical analysts responsible for coverage of advanced markets within the IHS Global Insight suite of subscription-based pharmaceutical and healthcare services.

Ms. Izmirlieva's main areas of expertise are in pricing and reimbursement and market access for originator pharmaceuticals. She also has a strong interest in biosimilars and generics. Milena joined IHS Global Insight in 2003 as a Research Analyst for the Western, Central and Eastern European markets and became a Senior Analyst in the Pharma Practice in 2006 and Project Manager in charge of IHS Global Insight Generics Analysis service in 2008.

Ms. Izmirlieva previously worked as a freelance healthcare analyst for IMS Health London and has four years experience in healthcare marketing communications for the EURO RSCG group in New York (US) and Sofia (Bulgaria) where she worked with both pharmaceutical and medical device companies. She holds an MS from Iowa State University and a joint BA in Journalism and Mass Communication and International Relations from the American University in Bulgaria. Milena is a regular speaker at pharmaceutical conferences and is often interviewed about pharmaceutical-related issues in the media.

Gaëlle Marinoni joined IHS as a senior analyst for the Healthcare and Pharma practice in July 2010. She contributes to new product development and supports international multi-client studies. Before joining the company, she worked as a consultant for market access and clinical trial recruitment enhancement specialist Brandtectonics Access. Prior to this, Gaëlle worked at IHS as a European research analyst and at the National Institute for Medical Research as a research scientist, where she led a four-year project on cell cycle and proliferation.

Gaëlle holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of Western Ontario (Canada), a joint M.Sc. in Microbiology from the Pasteur Institute and the University of Paris VII and a Masters in Genetics from the University of Paris VII.

Floriane Reinaud

Senior Healthcare Analyst, IHS

Floriane Reinaud, principal analyst at IHS Healthcare Practice, is responsible for a global pharmaceutical pricing database and has in-depth knowledge and experience in P&R policies, market access strategies and specialist topics, including orphan drugs and generics and biosimilars.

Floriane Reinaud joined Global Insight France in 2007 and has over 10 years of experience in the healthcare sector. She works as a Principal Analyst for the Healthcare and Pharma Division. Responsible for an international drug database with pricing and reimbursement in 40 countries, Floriane also publishes monthly bulletins providing valuable top-level analysis on the key drivers behind major price changes. Floriane also regularly contributes to consultancy projects. In her role, she has developed extensive and in-depth knowledge and experience of P&R policies, market access strategies and specialist topics such as risk-sharing agreements and orphan drugs, as well as price trends for generics and biosimilars. Floriane studied biology and holds an MS in Biochemistry as well as an MS in Healthcare Marketing. She coauthored a peer-reviewed article that was published in The Journal of Biological Biochemistry. Floriane is fluent in French and English.
