Process Economics Program Report 193
Ethylene Oxide Derivatives
Published: January 1991
This report covers the technology and economics for producing ethylene glycol ether, tertbutyl glycol ether, ethanolamines, ethyleneamines and ethylene carbonate. Product slate flexibility is addressed for the ethanolamines, and four routes to ethyleneamines are evaluated: from ethylene oxide, from monoethanolamine, from ethylene dichloride, and by an integrated ethylene oxide/ethylene dichloride process.
