Acrylonitrile 17

This report is primarily a patent review of the conversion of ethylene to acrylonitrile. Also included is a brief presentation on the consumption and cost of the raw materials required. Although the patent literature reflects vigorous research directed to the conversion of ethylene to acrylonitrile, a more extensive economic evaluation by Stanford Research Institute does not yet appear justified.
