PMG Program Releases List of Plumbing, Mechanical Products Meeting Codes, Standards

The listings can be used by manufacturers, building departments and consumers seeking approved products.
Construction Standards & Codes Collections Building Energy Efficiency Standards Building & Construction Standards & Codes Ducts, heating and cooling pipes, hood and ventilation equipment and shower pan liners are among the products approved in the first round of ICC-ES PMG testing.
Products are evaluated to meet the requirements of the International Plumbing, Mechanical, Residential and Fuel Gas Codes as well as the Uniform Plumbing and Mechanical Codes.
"ICC-ES is a building department's most preferred and trusted evaluation service," said Bernie Soesilo, ICC-ES director of listing programs.
"Many listing programs only verify that products meet standards requirements. The ICC-ES PMG listing program is unique because it's the only program that checks products against codes and standards, making it much more valuable to code officials," Soesilo said.
