Since 1862, the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) has published technical standards for the design, construction and operational maintenance of ships and other marine structures. IHS offers more than 560 ABS standards in its collection.
ABS serves as a Recognized Organization for creating marine standards for more than 100 governments.
