Information Hub

Information Hub is the central repository containing information that IHS gathers on a daily basis, quality assures, enhances and manages. IHS obtains this information from every available source, including; operators, government agencies, public documents and customers. We consolidate leading, reliable data sources including; IPL, QCDATA, P/I (IHS), GeoFluids, MapIt, Ensight, CHD, RapiData and LogTech. The information combines consolidated and collected historical data, as well as new sources that are added to the IHS database continuously.

Our experts spend a considerable amount of time reviewing the physical data and incorporating your feedback, which we then deliver to you through our powerful, intuitive software, Information Hub Direct Connect. With Information Hub, you gain access to the entire IHS inventory of information and more than 100 GIS-Ready Datasets containing geospatial data.

A single source for log data - The Information Hub Direct Connect is the only software that manages and integrates IHS digital log data with your company's proprietary digital log data.

IHS Information Hub Direct Connect is the only software that manages and integrates IHS digital log data with your company's proprietary digital log data. Using Data Manager you can easily archive, index, and make available your company's proprietary data integrated with IHS data in a single window. This means that your data is protected and accessible. Users will only require one system to search all of the data when starting new projects.

IHS applications which utilize Information Hub data include:

IHS provides extensive experience in compiling and maintaining geospatial data, enabling us to source, build and supply you with quality products not readily available elsewhere.

We provide a number of datasets available in ready-to-use formats for industry-standard GIS or mapping systems. These datasets are available in a variety of GIS file formats (Shape or TAB), projections (10TM, UTM, lat/long) and supported in both NAD27 and NAD83 datums. The data is structured for ease-of-use. Data connectivity and database work is not required.

IHS has refined the content and layout of its GIS datasets, delivering:

• Consistent filenames and structures for all regions 
• Consistent use of IHS standard codes and formatting
• Consistent field naming 
• Filenames identifying province
• Use of codes and descriptions
• Standardizing to facilitate inter-company information exchanges

There are over 100 datasets available in ready-to-use formats for use in industry standard GIS or mapping systems.
