The short-term economic outlook for the Nordics region remains moderate amid countries still recovering from the recession and continued exposure to eurozone economic risks. IHS CERA anticipates that after the mild weather of 2011, the Nordics power consumption will grow in 2012.However, reserve margins are adequate, and so power prices should stay low and clean spark spreads negative in the coming years.
