Core Analyses Data and Image

Core Analyses Data and Image is a critical dataset supporting exploration, drilling, reservoir management and production activities in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Northern and Eastern Frontiers.

In addition to furnishing data for over 665,712 oil and natural gas wells in Canada, the dataset also contains conventional and sidewall, detailed information such as porosity, permeability, density, lithological descriptions and plug numbers for all provinces. IHS sources the data from provincial agencies, often in hardcopy format, and reconciles all of the divergent sources into one digital dataset, which it updates regularly.
