National Code Services Association (NCSA)
Fire prevention codes, ordinances, training methods and fire suppression standards from the NCSA.
-
The National Code Services Association (NCSA), a division of the Western Fire chiefs Association (WFCA), was formed in 2007 to succeed the Uniform Fire Code Association (UFCA). NCSA activities include code change proposals/hearing and policy/direction as they relate to training course development, code issues, code interpretations and certification
NCSA members, such as working fire prevention officers, chiefs, fire marshals and consultants, make up the membership of the code committee. This committee creates the fire prevention codes and ordinances, standards for fire suppression equipment, fire fighting procedures, and the training processes for the NCSA.
