IHS CERA Spring Round Table Series: Chicago - North American Gas & Power Scenarios Workshop

IHS CERA will host the Spring 2012 North American Gas & Power Scenarios Service Workshop in Chicago, Illinois on April 25, 2012.

Learn more and registerOur Spring workshops are designed to serve two purposes. First, to refresh our Global Redesign scenario with more recent data and narrative, and secondly, to solicit your input on the ultimate design of the Fall 2012 Global Redesign, Vortex and Metamorphosis scenario narratives.

Topics to be covered in the workshop include:

  • Where are the US, Canadian and world economies headed? What domestic and global events present the greatest risks to North American energy markets?
  • The US natural gas industry: how long can today's low price regime be sustained? What are the factors that drive today's natural gas market conditions?
  • Refreshing the Global Redesign scenario: The latest IHS CERA thinking on energy policy, projected power demand, new resources, environmental regulatory factors and related market drivers.
  • What are the major risks in key energy industry value drivers, and how could they influence your decision making?
  • Designing the Fall 2012 Scenarios: what factors are most relevant in today's uncertain markets?

The workshop will be conducted in an interactive format, and we invite and encourage you to participate in the discussion.
