Steve De Vito, Senior Director, Regional Teams Americas, leads a team of researchers and analysts covering all energy and power activity in Latin America and Frontier North America regions. His team sources and scouts all relevant E&P activity information, and also authors monthly and annual GEPS reports as well as weekly highlights on activity in each country within these regions.

As a proven international oil finder with experience on six continents and more than forty-five basins worldwide, Mr. De Vito has held management and executive level positions and overseas assignments in London, Jakarta, Caracas, and Kuala Lumpur with Mobil, Enserch, Esso, Union Texas, and Texas American Resources.

De Vito is a member of the Houston Geological Society, the Geological Society of America, and the Southeast Asia Petroleum Exploration Society. He serves as Board Secretary of the International Pavilion, an AAPG company, and as moderator of the Latin America Information Forum monthly meetings in Houston. Mr. De Vito holds a Bachelor’s degree from Binghamtom University in New York and an MS in geology from Wright State University in Ohio.
