Tom Morrod is the senior principle analyst for TV and broadcast technology at IHS Screen Digest and IHS iSuppli. Tom is responsible for all research across professional video technology, video distribution, technical service delivery employed by service providers and video consumer electronics.
Tom has been the project lead for every version of the IABM's seminal report on the broadcast and media technology industry, having co-authored the report's first edition in 2006 shortly after joining Screen Digest.
Tom has presented at numerous international conferences over the years, contributed articles to many newspapers and trade magazines, and worked as a consultant and advisor to many of the largest technology, consumer electronics, content creation and distribution companies in the world, as well as to the investor and legal community involved in these industries.
Robert Braverman is a senior director at IHS and leads a team of analysts responsible for tracking the entire communication and consumer electronics value chain – from new product development through end-market consumption. A 25 year veteran of the high-technology industry, Robert brings a diverse background and skills portfolio to IHS.
Prior to IHS, he was tenured at Apple for 10 years, at Avnet for six years and served over five years in the software and professional services industry. Robert joined IHS in 2001 and prior to his current responsibility at IHS, he was responsible for regional business development and sales strategies in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) regions.
Robert holds a Bachelors and Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
