  • C2 in Amphibious Operations: Procedures and Technologies - April 2012

C2 in Amphibious Operations: Procedures and Technologies

IHS Jane's Online Intelligence Briefings

IHS Jane’s is hosting an Online Intelligence Briefing entitled C2 in Amphibious Operations: Procedures and Technologies on April 24, 2012

Amphibious operations are among the most complex that can be undertaken, involving simultaneous and integrated action in the land, maritime and air environments, usually conducted at the tactical level but having significant operational and strategic influence. Successful command and control of these operations depends on a combination of procedural measures, technological solutions and personal relationships.

This seminar will address some of the doctrinal aspects of amphibious operations and the procedures developed to meet their demands; the organisations and command platforms in existence and use in a number of countries; and will look at some of the command systems used.

For more details about the content of this 60 minute Online Intelligence Briefing, please see the agenda tab below.

IHS Jane’s Intelligence Briefings are available to Jane’s Intelligence Centre, Jane’s Intelligence Centre Module and Jane’s DS Forecast clients/subscribers for free as part of their product subscription package – please speak to your local IHS Jane’s representative for more details or Register via the IHS Jane’s Client Area (login required).

If you are not an IHS Jane's client, please register using the tab below.
