Chris Sheehan is the director of energy M&A research for IHS. He has been with IHS for more than 15 years and is responsible for managing the IHS energy transactions research and analysis group, which includes oversight of the development of the M&A research team and managing an energy industry M&A database. Sheehan is the author of the IHS Herold Annual Global Upstream M&A Review. He joined John S. Herold, now IHS, in 1995 as a senior energy equity analyst. Previously, he had eight years of experience at McMahan Securities Co. L.P. (a broker/dealer), where he served as managing director of a non-profit subsidiary and as database manager and securities analyst specializing in oil and gas. Sheehan holds a bachelor’s in political science and an MBA in finance from the University of Connecticut.

Ken Fung, Associate Director, IHS CERA is an expert in North American natural gas markets. His expertise includes western Canada and the US West, with a focus on issues related to gas prices and basis, pipeline flows and development, and regional policy changes that may affect the market. Mr. Fung has over ten years of oil and gas industry experience.
Before joining IHS CERA he was a Senior Analyst at BP in its North American Gas Market Analytics group, where he specialized in modeling and analysis of the Rockies, Pacific Northwest and Western Canada Sedimentary Basin supply.
Previously he was a consultant with IBM, with a focus on global liquefied natural gas markets. Mr. Fung holds a BS from the University of Alberta.

Ruchir Kadakia, IHS CERA Director, leads IHS CERA’s Global Oil fundamentals and price outlook analysis. Mr. Kadakia is an expert on global oil market structure and pricing, with a specialty in the interaction of oil fundamentals, macroeconomics, and trading theory. He has worked across a broad range of utilities, hedge funds, and investment banks focusing on research; operations; risk management; finance; and trading in oil, gas, and power. In his current role Mr. Kadakia is responsible for research and reports that constitute IHS CERA’s oil market analysis, including IHS CERA’s World Oil Watch. He holds a BBA from the McCombs School of Business, University of Texas at Austin.
Ruchir Kadakia provides assistance to IHS customers in understanding their energy needs and risks, particularly focusing on oil and product markets. Since joining IHS, his primary focus has been to lead IHS CERA’s Global Oil fundamentals and price outlook analysis. Ruchir is an expert on global oil market structure and pricing, with a specialty in the interaction of oil fundamentals, macroeconomics, and trading theory. Over the last 14 years he has worked across a broad range of utilities, hedge funds, and investment banks focusing on research; operations; risk management; finance; and trading in oil, gas, and power.
