      Martin joined Herold in June 2005 to focus on corporate marketing, communications and developing senior level relationships with clients in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Before coming to Herold, Martin worked for 20 years with Creditanstalt-Bankverein, Austria's leading bank with assignments as Chief Representative in Tokyo and Deputy Chief Executive in the US.

      Ghislain Moundounga works for IHS Energy as Country coordinator within the Sub Saharan Africa group. He is in charge of GEPS insights for Angola, Congo Brazzaville, Congo Kinshasa, Namibia, South Africa, Côte d’Ivoire, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Botswana and Zambia.

      Currently, his work focuses on tracking and reporting Oil and Gas activities inside its region of coverage across the full value chain from Upstream to Downstream.

      Before joining IHS, Ghislain worked for Schlumberger as Drilling and Completions Fluids specialist from 1998 to 2005 where he undertook many field works from onshore to offshore and deep offshore.

      He holds a Masters in Mathematics from University of Metz and an Integrated Drilling Fluids degree from UTC Schlumberger Nottinghamshire.

      Director, Global Gas

      John C. Harris, IHS CERA Director, is part of the IHS CERA Global Gas group and leads coverage of the Asian gas markets. His research focuses in particular on liquefied natural gas. Mr. Harris was the coordinator for the global gas message within the IHS Global Scenarios to 2030 Multiclient Study. He took on a similar role for the IHS CERA Multiclient Study Dawn of a New Age: Global Energy Scenarios for Strategic Decision Making—The Energy Future to 2030.

      Mr. Harris has worked extensively in Asia and the Middle East, undertaking due diligence and investment appraisal for both governments and private enterprises. His project work includes a comprehensive evaluation of China's options for importing natural gas. As well as contributing to IHS CERA's Global LNG Advisory Service, he also provides analysis on a range of energy-related issues in support of IHS CERA's clients in Asia and presents at both private and public industry forums.

      Prior to joining IHS CERA Mr. Harris spent over a decade with Drewry Shipping Consultants, becoming a Director of the company in 1997 and ultimately assuming responsibility for the Shipping Strategy Group. Prior to this he worked as a London-based commodity analyst for part of the Noranda Group. Mr. Harris is based in IHS CERA's Beijing office. He holds a B.Sc. from the University of Birmingham and an MBA from the United Kingdom's Open University.

      Senior Director, Regional Teams Americas

      Steve DeVito is senior director of regional teams for IHS Inc. Based in the company’s Houston office, he covers the Latin America and Frontier North America regions for IHS and is responsible for the oversight of Information and Insight Operations (IIO) scouting and reports.

      A proven international oil finder with experience on six continents and more than 45 basins worldwide, DeVito has held domestic and international positions with Mobil, Enserch, Esso, Union Texas, Texas American Resources and IHS.

      He has held management and executive level positions and overseas assignments in London, Jakarta, Caracas, and Kuala Lumpur. DeVito holds a bachelor’s degree in geology from Binghamton University in New York and a master of science in geology from Wright State University in Ohio.

      He is a member of the Houston Geological Society, the Geological Society of America, and the Southeast Asia Petroleum Exploration Society.

      GEPS Director, International Regional Teams

      Stuart Lewis is Director of International Regional Teams for IHS in the UK. Stuart joined IHS in 1999 as a technical analyst and researcher.

      Since then he has worked as a Middle East Regional Manager and Senior Regional Manager. Prior to joining IHS permanently, he worked on an ad-hoc basis for IHS (IEDS) in Singapore and in the UK during the early-to-mid 1990’s.

      Stuart has 22 years experience in the international oil and gas industry and has spent terms in the UK, Southeast Asia, Latin America and the Middle East. Based in the IHS Tetbury, UK office, Stuart coordinates the activities and development of international technical teams for the Australasian, Middle East, Northwest Europe and South Asia divisions in order to enhance coverage and writes a Middle East regional report.

      In addition he leads a staff of editors, analysts and researchers who report on regional activity, and consults with clients on exploration opportunities and new business development. Stuart holds a B.Sc. (Hons) degree in geology and a diploma in exploration techniques.
