IHS is hosting the IHS Automotive Conference in Tokyo on June 27, 2011
The global automotive industry has started to make a comeback following the global financial crisis. Nevertheless, with the triple disaster in Japan on March 11, the near-term Japanese outlook has, not surprisingly, taken a downward turn. In addition, the disruption of parts sourced from Japan is affecting OEM production around the world. Estimates of global disruption have reached as high as 3.5 million units in the first two quarters of 2011 alone.
When will Japan recover? How will supply affect prices and demand? Find out at the IHS Automotive Conference - Tokyo on June 27 as we present our global and Japanese automotive market outlooks and discuss the impact of the disaster in Japan. Following the event, please join us for a reception where you can meet our analysts and network with industry colleagues.
