Culture Data – IHS has combined multiple data sources to create IHS Culture Data with enhanced data quality, precision, breadth and depth. This evolving dataset brings together IHS historical offerings with elements of newer data layers from the IHS Enhanced Grid and IHS Transportation Infrastructure datasets.

Enhanced Culture – IHS Enhanced Culture Data houses information that is complement to and a supplement of IHS Culture Data, including themes not found in the Culture dataset. The data found with Enhanced Culture provides greater contextual background information useful for planning and modeling projects. Available for all of Canada, this data can create a better overall picture of an area of interest to help mitigate unexpected concerns before entering the field.

Enhanced Grid – IHS Enhanced Grid Data provides full E&P coverage through integrating all authoritative grids across Canada, including all of Western Canada's DLS fabric and the theoretical grids for Frontier Lands (NTS, FPS). Because of the complete integration, no data overlaps or holes exist. Built using authoritative grid source points from multiple government sources and IHS expertise and knowledge of survey fabric, the Enhanced Grid is the most accurate and best positionally correct dataset available.

Environmental – IHS has compiled a variety of environmental, restricted-use and surface boundary data that comprises IHS Environmental Data. This data is gathered from a variety of disparate sources that have been bundled as one package.

Geopolitical – IHS has compiled multiple data sources to create IHS Geopolitical Data, enhancing data quality, precision, breadth and depth. IHS Geopolitical Data is managed and maintained in various containers that are an aggregate of similar types of boundary or locational data that have contextual and potentially interlocking relationships. Included are Health Regions, RCMP Boundaries, Gas Strike Boundaries and more.

Power & Transmission – IHS Power and Transmission Data includes major transmission lines and transformer stations as well as other power infrastructure features. The dataset is useful for locating existing infrastructure and possible sources of electricity.

TELUS® Trench – IHS TELUS Trench Data contains locations of buried TELUS communication lines in British Columbia and Alberta. The dataset provides greater contextual background information useful for planning and modeling projects. The data can create a better overall picture of an area of interest to help mitigate unexpected concerns before entering the field.

Topography – IHS Topography data provides greater contextual terrain information useful for planning and modeling projects. Included are surface contour lines for all of Canada. The data can create a better overall picture of an area of interest to help mitigate unexpected concerns before entering the field. New raster elevation layers are now available to subscribers which is useful for visualizing surface elevations, generating elevation profiles, slope analysis and much more. The Canada-wide coverage ranges from 9m resolution to 20m resolution.
