  Mofazzal Bhuiyan works for the Energy division of IHS, Inc. in Dallas, Texas as Senior Product Manager, Production Engineering Solutions responsible for world-wide strategy, commercialization and business performance since 2008. Prior to this, he worked as Senior Petroleum Engineer supporting and training clients with petroleum engineering applications PERFORM (nodal analysis), and SubPUMP (ESP design). He also worked as application developer from 2001-2004 for material programs.
  Mr. Bhuiyan has an MS in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering from the West Virginia University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology.

  Alfonso has worked in the upstream areas of petroleum engineering in technology deployment, project management and business development positions. Prior to joining IHS, Alfonso worked in the areas of intelligent wells, smart-well completions, unconventional oil, production engineering and reservoir surveillance for Shell, Halliburton, WellDynamics and Optimization Petroleum Technologies. Alfonso has traveled and worked extensively in Peru, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Malaysia and ten other countries around the world, and uses this experience to contribute to IHS clients in reaching their production optimization goals.
  
  Alfonso earned a BS from the National University of Engineering of Peru; he is a passionate of computational physics, has performed studies at various technology institutions including the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and has published technical papers at SPE, IADC, PennWell and other international conferences.

  Jiafu Xu joined IHS in 2010. Jiafu’s job responsibilities involve development and maintenance of software such as PERFORM and SubPUMP and the areas of expertise include multiphase flow modeling and measurement, horizontal well production, computational fluid dynamics, turbulence modeling, heat and mass transfer and fluid rheology.
  Jiafu Xu holds a Masters degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Tulsa. Before joining IHS, Jiafu was a research assistant in The University of Tulsa Drilling Research Projects (TUDRP) specializing in Petroleum Hydraulics, cuttings transport, multiphase flow and wellbore trajectory design.

  Jasmine Yuan joined IHS in 1998 and is currently a principal petroleum engineer. Her job responsibilities involve development and maintenance of software such as PERFORM and SubPUMP. Her areas of expertise include multiphase flow modeling and measurement, horizontal well production, computational fluid dynamics, turbulence modeling, heat and mass transfer and fluid rheology.
  Jasmine Yuan holds a Ph.D. in petroleum engineering from the University of Tulsa. She is a member of SPE and also serves as a technical paper reviewer for ASME journal of Energy Resources Technology. Jasmine was a research associate at the Tulsa University Fluid Flow Projects before joining IHS.
