NAVISTAR, Inc., formerly known as International Truck and Engine Corporation, publishes standards for the manufacture of components, as well as for the maintenance and repair, for its vehicles.

NAVISTAR is a leading North American producer of heavy- and medium-duty trucks, service trucks and school buses.  The company is a worldwide leader in the manufacture of mid-range diesel engines for the International brand and a private-label designer and manufacturer of diesel engines for full-size pickup truck and van markets and selected industrial and off-highway markets.

Standards published by NAVISTAR are used by companies performing repair and maintenance on International vehicles and suppliers working with the repair and maintenance businesses and directly with NAVISTAR.
