Farid Abolfathi
, Senior Director, IHS Risk Center
Farid Abolfathi, Managing Director of Global Macroeconomics and Country Risk for IHS, has more than 20 years of experience in country risk analysis and macroeconomic forecasting. His expertise also includes Middle Eastern economics.
In 1995, Dr. Abolfathi led a team of researchers who developed the conceptual framework for assessing risk to investment and business operations that has become the core component of the IHS Global Risk Service.
Dr. Abolfathi holds several degrees, including a PhD from Northwestern University.
