IHS Rig Location Data provides information on Canada's drilling rig fleet through a daily update of activity. For members of the Canadian Association of Oilwell Drilling Contractors (CAODC), the data lists all pertinent drilling and rig information.

- Attribute data: rig name, contractor, location, status, area name, UWI, spud date, project depth, rig type, and contractor contact information
- Coordinate data that can be used to create shape files or SDE data
