Aerospace and Defense Industries Association of Europe - Standardization (ASD STAN), formerly known as the Association of European Aircraft and Component Manufacturers (AECMA), publishes standards for products, quality systems and product support for the European aerospace industry. ASD STAN is the recognized body in Europe for the preparation and promotion of European standards (EN) for aerospace application (civil and military), and an associated body to the European Committee for Standardization (CEN).
Publications issued by ASD STAN are used worldwide by engineers and technicians involved in the design, manufacture and maintenance of aircraft and aircraft components.
The collection of ASD STAN documents includes active, current version and previous edition prENs (preliminary European standards) as well as technical reports.
ASD STAN publications cover the following general areas:
