BSI British Standards is the National Standards Body of the UK and develops standards and standardisation solutions to meet the needs of business and society. They work with government, businesses and consumers to represent UK interests and facilitate the production of British, European and international standards.

The Chartered Institute of Building
The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) partnership gives IHS the rights to reproduce CIOB publications within The Construction Information Service (CIS).
With over 42,000 members the CIOB is a body of knowledge concerning the management of the total building process. CIOB members are drawn from a wide range of professional disciplines working within building and construction supply chains and are skilled managers and professionals with a common commitment to achieving and maintaining the highest possible standards. Chartered Member status, represented by the designations MCIOB and FCIOB, is recognised internationally as the mark of a true professional in the construction industry.
The Chartered Institute of Environmental Health
The Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) and IHS collaborative agreement brings together access to expert knowledge for Health, Safety and Environmental (H,S&E) professionals in The Occupational Health & Safety Information Service (OHSIS).
This agreement grants IHS the sole rights to include CIEH publications in The Occupational Health & Safety Information Service (OHSIS) a leading source of technical information for the H,S&E industry, including the development of joint publications and product initiatives to better support industry professionals in meeting their information needs.
The CIEH is a registered charity and the professional voice for environmental health. It sets standards, accredits courses and qualifications for the education of members and other environmental health practitioners.
It provides information, evidence and policy advice to local and national government and environmental and public health practitioners in the public and private sectors. A s an awarding body, the CIEH provides qualifications , events, and support materials on topics relevant to health, wellbeing and safety to develop workplace skills and best practice.
CIRIA
CIRIA is a member-based research and information organisation dedicated to improvement in the construction industry. Founded in 1960, currently there are 500 subscribing organisations.
CIRIA’s work is recognised as being independent, objective and authoritative. CIRIA provides a means through which the many different stakeholders in the modern built environment can work together to identify, codify, publish and promote the emerging best practice in the industry. In this way, CIRIA continually seeks to raise the standard of excellence in the broad construction sector beyond the “lowest admissible acceptability” for designers and constructors set by the framework of legislation, statutory regulations and codes of practice. CIRIA’s primary aims are to improve the quality, efficiency, cost-effectiveness and safety in both the provision and operation of the modern built environment.
CIRIA SuDS Training Special Offer
Susdrain is an exciting new community that provides a range of resources for those involved in delivering sustainable drainage systems (SuDS). The community operates both offline and online, where we feature best practice guidance, topical information, case studies, photos, videos and a discussion forum. The Fire Protection Association
The Fire Protection Association (FPA) and IHS have created a collaborative agreement to give subscribers access to key fire safety, fire prevention
and fire protection advice, guidance and support in OHSIS - the UK’s leading daily updated online health & safety information service.
The agreement grants IHS the online rights to include FPA documents and publications in OHSIS, a leading source of technical information for the H,S&E industry. Publications will include design guides, risk controls, Fire Risk Management guidelines, Essentials of Fire Safety Management.
OHSIS is a fast, reliable, online platform for all health, safety & environment information, providing access to current legislation, guidance, standards and best practice documents.
The Institution of Structural Engineers
The Institution of Structural Engineers is the world’s leading professional body for structural engineering.
Founded in 1908, the Institution now has more than 22,000 members in 109 countries. Its aim is to promote excellence in structural engineering, and its members are recognised as leaders for their technical and professional expertise.

TSI (The Trading Standards Institute)

NBS
The NBS and IHS have worked in partnership for over 20 years, providing construction industry professionals with access to an extensive library of technical documents.

The Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland
