Tell me about yourself

I am a Director of IHS Consulting in the Energy & Natural Resources Group.

What brought you to IHS?

I was intrigued by the IHS value proposition to clients. With its focus on quality databases, combined with SDG Energy's probabilistic approach to strategy development, and CERA's strategic research and brand, I thought IHS was a winning combination. Not to mention Herold's, Global Insight and the other arrows added to the IHS quiver!

What excites you about what you do here?

I am working with very bright and experienced teams of people to address clients' exact needs. I am developing a Global Gas & LNG focused consultancy offering here in Houston, to compliment our growth globally in this domain.

How do you balance work and play?

Throughout my career, I have had to plan the balance very carefully, especially when our son was born.

There's nothing better for me professionally than to be focused on client engagements. I travel a lot internationally, so I catch downtime where I can. I have lived abroad and love working with other cultures, so part of this is pure pleasure.

I read a lot, mostly Latin American writers. I ride a bicycle long distances and sing in a choir.
