What brought you to IHS?

I’ve been in the auto industry for almost my entire career. I came to IHS as a result of the CSM acquisition, where I was a Japan component analyst. I now work in IHS Consulting in the Automotive area. Since the acquisition, I have learned a lot about the history and scope of the IHS business model.  I’m very impressed and happy to take my new challenges.

What excites you about what you do here?

As I mentioned before, I am excited by take on new challenges.  I am also very excited to work with a group of talented colleagues.  I think working in this challenging environment with such a great team is the best way to improve myself.

How do you balance work and play?

I have a basic policy of working hard for long hours but try not to bring too much work home with me. This helps to keep me balanced. In addition, I’m going to be a father for the first time very soon, so that will surely change my balance a bit!
