SubPUMP delivers ESP equipment data update automatically to the global user base

SubPUMP is the world's only neutral and unbiased tool for Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP) design and analysis. The release includes:

        • Equipment updates from GE, Borets, Novomet, CAI, and WSP
        • XML Integration to monitoring tools As part of the ongoing effort to use customer data in new ways, SubPUMP automates data input to integrate into monitoring tools by using predefined XML schemas to “Map” related data for ESP performance analysis

IHS AccuMap Offers Tighter Integration With IHS Incident Manager

Starting with version 22.01, IHS AccuMap® provides tighter integration between the IHS Incident Manager module and AccuMap data.

        • The Incident Manager layer is no longer treated as an IHS Open Layer; now it has its own entry in the Map Features, Ask Question and Inspect menus
        • With the integration of the Incident Manager data, the Ask Question tool in AccuMap has expanded data fields that can be queried upon as well as having lookup tables for codes
        • The results from the query can now be saved as an Incident List (.jls); previous Open Layer Lists created in previous versions can still be sent to the Incident Manager from the Detail Map | Open Layer Lists | Launch Incident Manager, and well/facility/pipeline lists can still be sent to the Incident Manager as before

US Production and Well Information Updates at a glance

        Production Information

Oklahoma. After an extensive manual entry process and a thorough quality control check of volumes from the Oklahoma Corporation Commission (OCC), as well as the direct entry of data from seven of the largest producers in Oklahoma, we believe that our production information is now the most current, correct, complete and consistent data available for the state. Working with the OCC during its database transition the past year has resulted in some major improvements at the OCC and with its reporting requirements:

        • The OCC is now accepting operator-provided digital updates
        • The organization has resolved the issue of its database processing creating inflated volumes
        • Because it will now only accept reported volumes from the company that is approved to report the 1004s, the OCC has eliminated duplicate volumes and can now determine who is authorized to file 1004s
        • The OCC is changing its completion form (1002A) to accommodate reporting information on laterals

        Well Information

        • Missouri wells. At the request of several customers, we audited the IHS well file against the Missouri state file. We added 8,577 wells, standardizing the state data into consistent IHS information
        • California wells. This quarter we completed our audit of California wells, adding 2,780 wells in District Two
        • Directional surveys. We added nearly 8,000 directional surveys this quarter. The well database now contains digital directional surveys on over 188,000 wells
        • Mud weights and bottom hole temperatures. We continue to add mud and temperature data to our well information. Using data from well log headers, we added over 113,000 mud weights and depths and over 133,000 bottom-hole temperatures. This data is available on the IHS Enerdeq® Scout Ticket Report
        • Elevations. We added 37,049 elevations from log headers and other sources this quarter
        • Field names. We updated 31,175 field names in the well database where they were previously reported as unknown

EDIN 6.4 has made a number of changes including

        Midstream data module

        • Additions to the LNG Re-gasification and Liquefaction Capacities Reports
        • Additions to the Pipeline Capacities Reports
        • New Graphs in Gas Contracts, Gas Distribution and Storage

        E&P Data Module

        • Enhancements to the annual / cumulative production reports and to the reserve size distribution summary graph.

        User Interface

        • Color scheme changes to reflect the IHS online style and to enhance the user experience by reviewing placement/size of some of the buttons and on-screen help.
        • This change does not impact the underlying functionality of EDIN.

        Please note

        • A bug in Adobe Reader 10.1.2 will prevent opening PDF reports in EDIN. We recommend using at Adobe Reader 10.1.1 for the time being.
        • You may need to clear your internet caching (i.e. delete temp internet files) when initially logging into EDIN following the upgrade.

        ecoAsset Manager v10.4

        • Compliance regulations changed for some programs. New rules required the usage of emissions allowances from other affiliated programs for end-of-year compliance with certain restrictions and ratios. To deliver support for these new compliance regulations, a number of infrastructural changes have been made to the ecoAsset Manager v10.4. More specifically, the Retirement transaction data-entry form is updated to include calculated entries about year emissions and required allowances for compliance.
        • The US-EPA CAIR SO2 Program regulations require the usage of emission allowances from the US-EPA Acid Rain Program at various ratios based on year of compliance. Support for the USEPA CAIR SO2 Program regulations have been implemented in the ecoAsset Manager v10.4. When executing a Retirement transaction, you may now select US-EPA Acid Rain allowances for year-end-compliance with the CAIR SO2 defined ratios. To achieve the correct US-EPA CAIR SO2 compliance results, retired allowances from the US-EPA Acid Rain Program are taken into consideration.
        • Compliance regulations changed for some programs. New rules permitted the selection of emissions allowances from other affiliated programs with certain restrictions and ratios. Like the Retirement transaction, the Surrender transaction in ecoAsset Manager v10.4 now allows the usage of allowances from other affiliated programs taking into consideration restrictions and ratios.

The new option is available when you select the list in the Positive List dialog (accessed by clicking Add in the List - Generic Positive Lists screen of the Product Editor. Partial Exemption is no longer output by default in safety documents when no status is entered for the TSCA 8a IUR list. The Not Determined option is now output by default when no status is specified. The TSCA (8a) IUR sentence has been modified as the TSCA (8a) IUR Exempt/Partial Exemption sentence to clarify the fact that TSCA (8a) IUR is an inventory list that identifies exemptions. The modified sentence is now output everywhere TSCA (8a) IUR was output in safety data sheets.
        • The option to generate and edit the content of a PIDS form field in a custom view has been restored. You can once again generate the content of a PIDS form field that was added to a screen in a custom view. You can also generate an audit if an audit is available on the field and you can edit the content of the form field manually.

IHS Kingdom and IHS Petra Integration

With the release of Kingdom 8.7 Hot Fix 1 and Petra 3.8, users now have the ability to easily share information between Kingdom and Petra projects.

        • Users working on Petra projects can directly reference grids from Kingdom projects. Kingdom grids will be augmented with a suffix of “_tks” in the Petra list of available grids.  On the Kingdom side, users can simply choose to receive grids from Petra, select from a list, and the grids will be immediately available to Kingdom.
        • Petra can also send well information to a Kingdom project. Data items include locations, tops, IP and production test, DSTs, directional (deviation) surveys, log curves, time-depth charts, fault cuts, casing and liner data, cored intervals, and perfs. Exporting the wells creates the Petra - Kingdom project link.

This integration is the first step to helping our user collaborate between Kingdom and Petra without requiring separate middleware or tedious file imports and exports.

Kingdom directly connects to IHS US well and production data

The Kingdom 8.7.1 release provides direct connection to IHS US Well and Production data within Kingdom.  This allows Kingdom users to stream IHS data directly into their project databases.

        • A single interface is used for data connection job creation and management. User can select any combination of data types, areal extents and/or queries to build a specific data exchange job.  Jobs can be run immediately or scheduled to run at a later time.
        • A separate scheduling service has been developed to manage the running and pending jobs. This allows users to perform other tasks in Kingdom, or close Kingdom completely and any scheduled jobs will continue to run.
        • Kingdom also provides a full Job Management panel to run, schedule and generally manage the data transfer job queue.  As a job is running the job status bar reflects the data being loading into Kingdom.  As jobs complete, a full history is retained for each run.  This history provides summary reports of a jobs activity as well as a detailed report of any data elements that were rejected due to errors.
