        Comply Plus v2.9.7

        • GHS Hazard & Precautionary Statements, Signal Words: We have enabled the ability to assign GHS Hazard Statements, GHS Precautionary Statements as well as GHS signal words. Previous support for these types of GHS classifications was limited to the assignment of the GHS Classification, along with the accompanying pictogram and hazard information. The new GHS support is in addition to the previously supported functionality.
        • Regulatory List Name Updates: As part of our continuous improvement efforts, we will be making a change to the way the regulatory lists are named in Comply Plus, to make them more readily identifiable. Through this effort, we will be highlighting the key regulatory body or jurisdiction (region, country, etc.) as a prefix to many of the list descriptions. You will notice much more consistency in the naming conventions for our regulatory lists in Comply Plus. In addition to the list name updates, we will be making all necessary list content updates per our standard update cycle.
        • Application Maintenance & Bug Fixes: In addition to the above new and enhanced functionality, I am extremely pleased to announce that we have resolved and closed out 120 bugs in Comply Plus for this release. All areas of the application received fixes but some more prominent areas include the MSDS and Parts homepages, Chemical Inventory, and Reports.

        ecoAsset Manager v10.4

        • Compliance regulations changed for some programs. New rules required the usage of emissions allowances from other affiliated programs for end-of-year compliance with certain restrictions and ratios. To deliver support for these new compliance regulations, a number of infrastructural changes have been made to the ecoAsset Manager v10.4. More specifically, the Retirement transaction data-entry form is updated to include calculated entries about year emissions and required allowances for compliance.
        • The US-EPA CAIR SO2 Program regulations require the usage of emission allowances from the US-EPA Acid Rain Program at various ratios based on year of compliance. Support for the USEPA CAIR SO2 Program regulations have been implemented in the ecoAsset Manager v10.4. When executing a Retirement transaction, you may now select US-EPA Acid Rain allowances for year-end-compliance with the CAIR SO2 defined ratios. To achieve the correct US-EPA CAIR SO2 compliance results, retired allowances from the US-EPA Acid Rain Program are taken into consideration.
        • Compliance regulations changed for some programs. New rules permitted the selection of emissions allowances from other affiliated programs with certain restrictions and ratios. Like the Retirement transaction, the Surrender transaction in ecoAsset Manager v10.4 now allows the usage of allowances from other affiliated programs taking into consideration restrictions and ratios.

        Essential Suite v7.4

        • We changed our development process to better serve you, our valued customer. Our new process includes the Agile Development methodology which will help us more rapidly respond to changing customer and market needs and priorities.
        • One of the most exciting enhancements to version 7.4 is the significant improvement to the workflow related to Parameter management across multiple modules. This release includes
        • standardization and consolidation of terminology and forms related to the management of parameters and parameter result data entry.
        • Links to the new Parameter Definition, Parameter Data Entry, and Parameter Results View forms can be found under the new Parameter Information folder in the Navigation Tree. In addition, navigation tree links to the Parameter Group Data Entry, Sample Quickfill, and Parameter Group forms have been moved to this new folder.  New fields have been added to the Parameter validation form to define default % Variation From Previous Value limits for a parameter.
        • The capability to maintain Aspects and Potential Environmental Impacts for each entity has been added to support an environmental policy that is consistent with the ISO 14001 Standard. The newly added Entity Aspects form can be used to organize key information for evaluating aspects associated with significant environmental impacts, defining objectives and targets for pollution reduction/prevention, and documenting on-going progress.

        opsInfo v9.0

        • In opsInfo™ v9.0, one of the most exciting enhancements is the opsWeb Rover enhancement. Much of our focus is on improving the reporting performance of opsWeb Rover. By using a system of caching queries and report template setup we have increased reporting performance significantly.
        • With this release we have also completed all of the top priority enhancements that we voted on in the 2009 User Group meeting. Some of these enhancements were introduced in opsInfo 8.1 and 8.2. The outstanding items that we’ve addressed in this release are opsCompliance task management items.
        • Finally, we have continued adding more feature and functionality enhancements to the Web Model Management (WMM) providing users with the ability to perform more tasks on the web which they would normally do using the Configuration Manager.

        Intelligent Authoring v4.2.2

        • A Not Determined option has been added for the TSCA 8a Inventory update rule (IUR) list. The new option is available when you select the list in the Positive List dialog (accessed by clicking Add in the List - Generic Positive Lists screen of the Product Editor. Partial Exemption is no longer output by default in safety documents when no status is entered for the TSCA 8a IUR list. The Not Determined option is now output by default when no status is specified. The TSCA (8a) IUR sentence has been modified as the TSCA (8a) IUR Exempt/Partial Exemption sentence to clarify the fact that TSCA (8a) IUR is an inventory list that identifies exemptions. The modified sentence is now output everywhere TSCA (8a) IUR was output in safety data sheets.
        • The option to generate and edit the content of a PIDS form field in a custom view has been restored. You can once again generate the content of a PIDS form field that was added to a screen in a custom view. You can also generate an audit if an audit is available on the field and you can edit the content of the form field manually.
        • You now have the option to use Sentences with Parameters in Exposure Scenarios. You can now add sentences with parameters in exposure scenario form fields
        • When using sentences with parameters, the parameter code is now output (e.g. @%1) instead of a blank space if you do not specify a value for the parameter.

For more information on these product updates please log on to ecn.ihs.com for detailed release notes.
