DOE Releases HEPA Specification for Contractors

This standard provides guidance to DOE contractors for procurement and required testing of High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filters used in DOE nuclear facilities. The filter manufacturer and DOE perform required testing at a designated Filter Test Facility (FTF). This standard was designed to achieve technical coordination among manufacturers, purchasers, users and technical experts. Recommendations, additions, deletions and any pertinent data that may improve this document should be sent to: Subir K.
