New Subscription Options from IHS and TRL
Instant access to new TRL transportation industry publications via email
BRACKNELL, UK. (7 January 2008) – IHS Inc. (IHS: NYSE), a leading global source of critical information and insight, and TRL, leading provider of independent research, consultancy and testing for all aspects of transport, today announced the launch of TRL Select. This new subscription scheme offers direct access to new TRL publications in full text via email.
“The aim of the new scheme is to keep our customers up-to-date with the latest developments in the transport field by offering them flexible options and easy access to the latest TRL publications,” said Andy Butt, Director of Retail for IHS.
TRL Select subscribers can choose from three options:
The first option includes the delivery of all new Published Project Reports (PPRs) in PDF format. Every month subscribers receive via email the full version of each PPR issued that month. This subscription package contains around 60 publications per year, which cover key transport subjects:
- Environmental issues and sustainability
- Ground engineering, highways and bridges
- Road user safety and vehicle engineering
- Traffic engineering and traffic planning.
Customers who subscribe to the second option will receive every month via email the full version of each newly published Current Topics in Transport (CT) in PDF format (around 36 publications per year). CTs are abstract bulletins that look at different transport issues under four themes:
- Transport planning and environment
- Transport safety
- Electronics and communications in transport
- Civil engineering.
The third option offers the delivery of Research Alerts in hard copy. This monthly alert provides detailed information on TRL’s published output, with summaries of each new TRL report and Current Topics in Transport bulletin.
