(PAI – www.prodacc.com) making PAI a reseller and referral partner for the IHS suite of environmental compliance solutions. The alliance enables manufacturers and designers of consumer electronics, security and surveillance equipment, and networking communications equipment to decrease the time-to-market of new products that meet environmental directives.
With environmental compliance deadlines approaching, such as RoHS and WEEE (Restriction of Hazardous Substances and Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) in the European Union and other restricted substance requirements worldwide, many manufacturers lack the time or resources to effectively identify compliant replacement parts and then redesign, test and introduce new compliant products in time. IHS and PAI, delivering an end-to-end design chain thru supply chain solution, can undertake this vital compliance task efficiently and effectively, saving significant time and money for companies.

PAI analyzes a company’s Approved Vendor List (AVL) to determine its compliance with the EU directive.
